Hello everyone, I' just purchased a '92 T-Bird SC. I was surfing around looking for any sites related to SC's and I'm sure glad I found this one. I've been reading and gaining ALOT of helpful info on these cars. Currently it's not running due to the owner before me blowing the head gaskets out. After reading the article on exuast systems I'm pertty sure that was the cause after crawling under seeing the ford motorcraft muffler. He just purchased a 10% pully and left the stock exuast on it.

Also if anyone has some helpful tips or tircks on these engines before I assemble it I'd really appreciate the help. So far I have the block machined and ready to be assembled and the heads mildly ported. Mainly just the high spots. I own a machine shop so labor is free :)

Thanks in advance,

I would send a PM to David Dalke or Gary Kuhn. They are some of the most knowledgable people on these engines. I'm sure there are others but those are the two that come to mind. They are both in the members page. Their id's are XR7 Dave, and Kuhnga. I'm sure they could give you some good pointers.:D
