1990 35th 5speed...code 22

Okie dokie. Got a 90 Annie5speed. She don't wanna idle quite right, don't like the boost and doesn't pull as much vacuum as she used to. She used to pull nearly 18" of vacuum at cruise but now she only pulls 10".

Anyways, she was throwing code 31, replaced the EGR valve and the EGR pressure transducer and that fixed that problem, helped out a little bit with the lack of idle (sounds like she's got a VERY hairy cam). Once you're driving she drives fine, she just don't have the power she used to (and this problem developed literally overnight).

Anyways, after the EGR transducer was replaced the code 31 went away but now she throws code 22. Somethin to the tune of MAP sensor reading below spec or something like that.

Anyone have any advice for those bugger of a pickle I seem to be in? I just want Annie to run right and quit bein sick and dyin!

Sounds like a vacuum leak. Recheck everything that you 've taken off lately, especially the PCV lines and intake tube connections. Use some propane or other combustable at each connection while the engine is at idle, when the rpm changes as you spray, it means there's a leak there, fix it and continue to test until you find them all. Good luck
