I just got my SC acouple months ago and I love it. Its a 94 and it had 112 when I bought it but it is in great condition. But the original clutch is still in it and is on its way out. I was curious what would be the best clutch to put in it. It is basically and everyday driver and I was just curious what other people have done with their SC's. I want to keep this car for awhile and do a lot of work to it to get as much power out of it as I can and I dont want to go back to the stock clutch. Right now it is still bone stock. Like I said I have only had it for acouple months and I have not had the chance to do anything to it yet but I can tell that the clutch is def. goin to need to be done sooner than later. Thanks.

For a daily driver and stock car I would recommend a factory Ford clutch. The Centerforce clutches are good but I have heard they can be a little sticky and that the Ford clutch is a little smoother, probably cheaper too, never priced one though. I am getting ready to put a 5-speed in mine(its auto right now) and I will use the Ford clutch. At least until I do more mods and get the horsepower higher. I read something somewhere where a guy was talking about a clutch that was better than both of them but I can't remember where I saw that, and I can't remember what kind of clutch it was. Anyway, just go with the Ford clutch IMO.

I would steer away from the dealership for a clutch. The factory clutch is made by LUK. Pep Boys sells the complete LUK clutch kit. I spent around 215USD for the Gold series kit. I would recommend that you change out the clutch slave cylinder.....it's probably on it's last leg anyways!

Good Luck!
