Is this a good buy?

I am looking at buying a 94 super coupe with 15k on a fresh rebuild. It has all options and an automatic. It needs a harmonic balancer to be perfect mechanical condition. The guy is telling me he will sell it for 1500... Any opinions???I have a 1987 Thunderbird Turbo Coupe that im looking to sell if anyone is interested.

I would say that is a good deal. Even if the guy is not honest, and the car needs more than a balancer, it could probably be parted out for more than $1500, if it is a '94.
