So the other day I was taking out my SC with my girlfriend in the car. Just thought I would take it out for one last spin before it goes away for the winter. So I was kind of itching to get on it a little bit. But anyways about the race.
I pull up to a red light and I am turning on to the highway. A 94 vette comes to a stop next to me. Just joking I look at my girlfriend and say "Maybe I should race him." In return she look over at the guy and tells me that he will never race because he looks old. Well the light turns green and I go around the corner shift into second and get on it about half throttle. Well I guess the guy in the vette didn't like this idea and floored it going screaming past me. So I catch up to him and we are doing about 65mph, and he just stares at me like my car is not worthy to be next to him.(just one of those real mean glares) So I downshift into 3rd, and as soon as I did that he floors it. So in return I get on it to. Through 3rd gear we were about dead even, then when I shifted into 4th(which is were I thought I was going to start to lose) I started pulling on him barely, but inching on him. So we hit about 110 and he slams on his brakes. Race is over I was about, im guessing 2 feet in front of him because when I looked over my head was about even with the start of his windsheild. Yes i know it was probably an automatic, and an older guy, but he wanted to race, and it was fun so Im happy that I put the SC away on a good note.
P.S. I wonder what the guy in the vette was thinking when the supercharger was screaming
