73 or 405 to Queen Mary????

I have found a section of the road I'm not sure which way to go....I can either go on the 73 OR 405 (they both meet back up)....I know the 73 is a toll road, but is it worth paying the toll over going the 405?

How much is the toll?

I have noever beenon the toll and don't know how much it is.
During the weekend and early in the morning I would think that the 405 will be just fine.

The 73 is just a bypass for the 5/405 merge when it is really busy. You can go either way. The toll on the 73 is $2.25, and it really pays when the freeway is crowded. The time you are coming the 5 to the 405 should be just fine. BTW, if you can, drive in the car-pool lane on the north 5 and stay on the far left, this will put you right on the 405.
