View Full Version : I may withdraw from Bakersfield

....If JD runs an 11 second 1/4 mile, I may withdraw from competition at Bakersfield.
What's the use in trying. The guy is calling out Coy Miller, John Shelton and Dr. Fred and each of the SOCAL guys (Mike, TBK, Al, Robert and Lance).
I can't stand the pressure of having to face the terrible JD from SAC.

RON....wake up!

Whew, man that was a nasty dream!
For a moment I forgot that JD's engine and tranny are all on the floor of his garage in pieces.
I heard Jim says that he wasn't going to post anymore baloney, just facts.
There's a whole train gathering and forming a line and Jim has said he wants each of the SC's, so let's wish him luck.

To give you an idea!!!!!!!!!
I will be testing in June than you will find out how serious
I am about this World Record Deal very low 12's and then the 11 second's to glory
I don't plan on going all the way to Bakersfield to be beatin
I ran there many times got some BIG TROPHYS and money from there love that track

So fill them NOS bottles I am coming for all of you practice your reaction times I got my car setup just like a bracket car

I love racing don't matter if its an SC its the tuning and the driver consistency is a big factor remember "ARMY of ONE"

HO HUMMMMM,
It's the broken record again.

You know, Cal;ifornia is in bad shape if the fastest SC is in Sac.
Can you imagine the fastest SC is a car that is in pieces on someone's garage floor.
Man.....I can beat that dinosaur in my SC and I'm the Slowest guy in our Chapter. How fast does that make that guy in Sac?
How fast does that make the rest of the SC's on the planet if he is the fastest and his car is in egg crates?
Jim....NOW you're dreamin'!
If the guy doesn't show or he breaks and fails to come to the line during his challenge of every SCCoSC member, HE Loses and a new King is crowned.

Even our 7.3 ltr diesel crew cab dually is faster right now!!

Maybe we can have the fastest SC we have one in the garage that does not run either :)

Lets hope this broken record does not get put back together anymore.

Jim if you want to be the man how about "a little less talk and allot more ACTION".

The few the proud two NORCALERS!!

Jim,
Sue gladly accepts your challenge, She said she would spot you a lead and race you driving the the 6600 lb sled backwards. can you smell what Sue is cooking.

Oh man Jim....

Let's see....
Coy Miller, John Shelton, Aaron Pedroza, Pro Street Rich, The SOCAL guys (Al, Tbk, Mike, Lance, Robert and Ron) and now SUE.
Jim, you are in way up to your elbows bro.

Jim Demmitt Jr
05-13-2002, 02:43 AM
Ron I am in BIG TROUBLE :-)
I feel a big wave coming over and I am going to get sucked under still got my head above water :-)

I am going to put these parts I got on the garage floor in my back pocket and run down the track

Army of One looking for backup

Jim,

Just trying to help you build up your stamina for all of these races :)

Sue

P.S.- The Dually is hot though!!!!

RonzSC
05-13-2002, 07:24 PM
Jim...We don't know if we should let Sue run you first or have her get to the end of the line. If you break and don't go to the line, then Sue becomes Queen of the Hill! But, if we let her race you first and she knocks you off first, then we don't have anything to race...so you see our dilemma?

So Jim, it will be all the SC guys and gals in order of our qualifying times, I think. Then Coy, then Fred and then John shelton. The finale will be Sue in her duallie.

Ron,

I better go last. I don't think I could afford all of the gas the beast would require to run against all of you guys & gals after I beat Jim :) . Ok Jim, you better get that SC up and rolling or the "Big Blue Beast" may have to represent Nor-Cal and that could be ugly!

You know Jim, you've said before that you bent the rods in your motor during the record run.
What caused that? Just wondering...
No crank damage just rods?

Jim Demmitt Jr
05-14-2002, 01:43 AM
Ron bent all 6
I ran 13.088et bent the rods it has 120.000 miles on it crank was fine that short block I still have just needs new rods

We are building a new motor Eagle rods new heads a completely different setup all together should make close to 500hp

We plan on going low 12 right off the bat setting the car up different to handle the BJ1 horsepower

Oh Jim,

I forgot to tell you this will be best two out of three wins in three events. First event: quarter mile ( you might possibly beat me) strong emphasis on "might." Second event: horse trailer pull, horses of your choice. Third event: How many cowboy hat wearing cowboys/cowgirls can you you get inside your car. I'm thinking I am going to win at least two of these events (1/4 mile and trailer pull :) May the best man win. oops, best woman win.

The Bakersfield deal was meant as a means for us to have a combined meet and have fun.

Is it becoming a focal point to vent petty differences?

Some of the folks making an effort to come down seem really cool, but you wonder about others whether they have an axe to grind.

If this doesn't get better I don't think we will have much of a meet.

TBKHomeworld

Right now I think a bunch of people are just trying to have some fun....I could be wrong though.

I am only going for the fellow SCers. I will probably NOT dragrace. It's a LONG haul home if something happens and isn't worth the pain of having to drop tranny or engine again.

I look forward to meeting everyone...and I do mean EVERYONE from Nor-Cal.....regardless of what has been discussed on previous threads or boards. I'm into this for the SC, some fun laughs, good times, and good friends.

Ron this how I feel
I am coming down to have a good time to see you wonderful people you have all made me feel like a good friend and I appreciate this very much

I am not coming down to beat everyone or to be the fastest thats all talk BS if I get beat it doesent matter to me I am coming to see and to be with what I call my family

Its to come and have fun together the way a meet should be I hope we do have this it would mean so much to if I am the only one from Nor-Cal it dosent matter

I want to say thank you for even trying to set this up your a great guy in my book THANK YOU

Well...Family folks, generally, will not bring their families to an event where there is a poor atmosphere. You guys know I bring my kids with me to the meets and I wanted to bring momma to the Bakersfield deal. I would be very dissappointed if someone got out-of-control.
I feel much like TBK wishing to participate and have fun and not drag. I do want to see the Northern Blue Bomber run however.

Wendy,

I think Jim was figuring your "Turbo" machine is twice as fast as "Big Blue" and that you might have a pretty nice advantage but Jim did not realize that I can bring 5 friends on this run (super crew) and we can all ride high and in style :) mind you all strapped in so when I hit the NOS button-opps did I give anything away? :)

TBK what are you wanting to put on the t-shirts now?

Sue

P.S- Girls rule and Boys drool at girls! :)

Jim,

I see your plan try flattering us and we might go easy on you :) Actually I do not have NOS on the Dually but wouldn't that be to cool!! What can I say I am a cowgirl that LOVES her trucks (I also have a Ford 150/4X4/super crew/leather, etc..... Awesome truck (NOS and a Vortec blower in the future for my TRITON 5.4l). 4X4 burnouts now that will smoke you :) Marks kicking me off the computer so you boys can commiserate with each other. I bet Wendy would blow my doors off with her "TURBO MACHINE" :)
