I got a chance at a really good deal on a used engine, but it is out of an auto. I am going to put it in my five speed. Is it going to effect performance alot, or should I change my cam out before I put the engine in?

Thanks, Biggin'

there is no differance between a sc auto motor , and a sc stick motor, only differance is the type of trans, and extra stuff that goes with each

What he said is mostly true, for the 90 model the 5-spds have EGR and the autos don't. If your using another year motor and still need to retain the EGR you'll have to use the passenger side exhaust manifold and get the EGR valve/tube from your current motor. Either way you'll need to use the flywheel and probably the starter from your current motor. The 94-95 motors may be a little different for a swap but other than the EGR any 89-93 motor should be doable (You may want to stay away from 89s or at least check the 8th spot on the VIN of the car you get it from for a C, these have cast cranks and are less than desirable....)
