I just purchased a 93 SC blk/blk leather 5spd fully loaded
w/ 190,000km. The car seems to be in excellent condition. It was
made in 06/93. is this still considered a 93 or 94 version?
I also heard that there was a recall for this model year, if so does anyone know what it was for?
The stock exhaust was replaced with a performance version and the stock air induction was replaced with a k/n version.
Can I do any other minor mods for more hp?
Hello Nick,
There is alot of little mods you can do to your car to get more Hp.
BIGGER TB
BIGGER MAF
PORTed SC
Ported HEADs
ETC,
You can also talk to Ryan Harris he is making a pully set that can give you some more HP.
Thanks,
Jeff

Nick, 06/93 production on a T-Bird would still be a 1993 model year. Some cars these days get early model year introductions, but that didn't happen with the Birds. 1994 cars had the different nose, rear bumper, and instrument panel, as well as a few mechanical changes.
The 93 SC is somewhat unique, having the earlier, more aggressive front end, combined with the newer style directional rims. You also have the 2nd generation ABS system that has a separate master cylinder and vacuum brake booster, unlike the 89 - 92 cars.
Your 5-speed car is one of 1,038 produced in 1993. So a clean, loaded, low mileage car is a nice one to have for sure. There was a recall on the 92 - 93 cars for a headlight switch problem. If you like, e-mail or p.m. with the VIN of the car, I can check to see if the recall has been completed on your car.
cheers
