Good Lord....stuck away from home and my SC for a whole month. At least I get to come home on my BD. I'm going to a school in Yorktown, Va. I've been stuck on the yeast coast about as much as I've been at home this year. Thought after I got transfered off the ship I'd be home more. Oh well, could be a LOT worse. Got no room to wine compared to some shipmates.
Good news is at least I'm getting some much needed work to the car. Motor mounts recently gave out. Explained the low vibration that was shaking the whole car. Just glad the car is in good hands.
Maybe I'll get to spend Thanksgiving at home next year. Hope you guys had a good one. I tried to see if any SC owners near me here in VA would help a brother out, but no takers.

My son is in Blacksburg at VA Tech with blown HGs on my best SC. Bu that is about 5 hrs from you. He is a good wrench on SCs after this summer. His 91-5 SC is parked here with spun bearing. I am in DFW area.

My daughter is in VB teaching High School, but she is not an SCer though she suits up and gets on the track with me when she comes to TX.

Sorry to hear about the major SC problems. Mine don't seem so bad. That's interesting about your daughter, I spent part of a day at VB last weekend. Gettin' real cold around here, especially when I normally live in south TX.

Yep, VA has 4 full seasons. It was sorta nice when I lived there for 2 yrs in the 70s, other than no break in the cold like we get in TX.

At least when we feeze in TX and ice all over it can then warm up to 87 the next day and give you a break.

I hate thinking of towing an SC to VA to trade off with son. Just to much trouble but if he gets an internship in Charlotte NC he will need a car that runs. I ought to get something more reliable for him. But after he works the 8mos then he can buy something.

Daughter bought a Saturn and heard she may go to NY for summer work just cause she has never been there. I wish she would get a teaching job here because I can get her on the track.
