Where do you guys get bearing sets online and how much are they? Main and connecting rod bearings.

Summit racing will get them for you. I got clevite 77 main and rod bearings. I think the mains were $33.00 and the rod bearings were $3.00 and some change each, you need 6 of them.

The mains were $33.00 each. Would you do those too. I am doing the bearings because I'm scared they went when there was coolant in my oil. Or would the rod bearings go bad before the mains because of more friction?

if the pan is down or the engine out, might as well do them all over again. No sense going cheap and only doing the rods.

No no no. The mains are around $33.00 for the complete set and the rod bearings were around $18.00 and some change for a complete set. I should have worded it that way to begin with but for some reason they sell rod bearings individualy. I dont know why they do that because I would never only replace one of them but evidentaly some people do. Just make sure you get enough bearings for 6 rods.
Replace ALL the bearings as they all share the same oil feed.
Besides that if you have around 100,000 miles on the engine the bearings will be worn into the copper shells so replace them all.
Sorry for the confussion.
