7 weeks boys

7 weeks till the DFW-SHO Club 2nd annual and fordbastards 1st annual winter run. I sure would like to see some of you SCCOA folks from San Antonio, Houston, and Corpus make this run.

I just had a thought (I know that's a dangerous thing) how about a double whamy weekend, we do the run on Saturday and MSR on Sunday. I just spoke to Doug Franklin and MSR does do club days on Sundays. So he's checking out the schedule out there to see if Jan. the 18th is open.

Give me some of your input guys.

I guess you all are just afraid to have your t-birds whipped up on by some SHOs. Guess so.

I think it's time for you guys to take those birds to the salvage yard.

Don with this flue I won't be ready for Jan. But I am at least getting a car up to RusselR caliber, I hope. Al radiator shipped. Got some other goodies. Man I have never been this sick for this long since Jr High. You know it all started up again when Russ was here at MSR. I just had to get out there.

Don is nicer than he sounds guys. But these SHO-offs love to tease up a chalange. Your SC is way better than a SHO, as we all know. If I am there I will bring video and camera.

Don is it true we may have a Lightning truck or Lotus show up this time? Probes and Lincolns too?

Laurance (with the Lighting) how can I say this nicely emmm is full of crap.
If he does show up in the DFW area some Lighting boys may break his legs, and it's because he's out on good behavior if you know what I mean..

I went out to PK today and found some new roads and cut the northern part (the boring part) of the run out. We are doing the run reverse of last year and will be on Hwy 67 for only 7 miles this year. I got to Ranger about 12:30pm and was back in Ft. Worth by 5:00pm and I wasn't pushin it (was in that not so used green machine and forgot the Valentine in blue92). Clocked 230+ miles for the run, also found a Bar-B-Que joint in Graham we can stop for lunch at. I am going out Wed. to check out one more road.

We will start in Ranger but won't come back to Ranger on the return trip to Ft. Worth.

For those coming from West Texas you'll want to take exit 349 off I-20 and we will meet you at the Conaco Station there at the light that goes to down town Ranger say between 11:30 and noon.

For those coming from out of town I will post hotel info after Wed.
