I need a new radiator. Will a 1989 to 1993 Radiator work for my 1994 SC? The shop wants 350 bucks for one and i think thats way overpriced. Id rather just buy my own and do it myself. Let me know your suggestions.

Thanks,

Nick

Any of the earlier rads can be made to work. I have a 92 rad in my 95. Some of the hardware clips are a bit different, and you need to extend the overflow hose, because the coolant bottle is on the other side for 89 - 93 cars, and the attachment on the rad neck is moved for that.

I once went to a local radiator shop and found an all metal unit w/ lifetime warranty for a '92 made by Cooling Systems & Flexibles (CSF) for about 160 dollars.

I may be doing this again soon if my hgs are not blown.. so I will let you know if its still available. I couldn't see why not..

If you want cheap price, Radiator Express I heard a lot of people say they are good w/ quick shipping. Also Mike38SC has custom aluminum ones that look sweet, his are in the parts for sale section..
