Custom SuperCharger Tops ??

anyone have custom design tops you can post ? or have any really good ideas to share ? if i do the custom FMIC i want to make a top also.. i made something here below, just wondering of some others ideas or others tops made ? i have the 4" Cobra R hood so i'm not to worried to much about clearences..

think 1/8 inch aluminum welded all together would work ? i know it would be alot of pieces ? here is another... trying to go with the cheapest most effective way..
 
A good aerodynamic design is important to getting good flow through a part. If you have corners and square boxes and other turbulent stuff in there, it's not going to flow as well as a part with smooth transitions and surfaces. Of course that's not as easy to fabricate either, but if I was making a top from scratch I'd go for curved surfaces. Something like this:

i agress, i guess i totally overlooked that.. i was looking for a really simple way of making one, i wonder if 1/8 inch aluminum would be easily to do that or not ?
