Coast Cruise:
We'll meet at the Queen Mary parking lot in Long Beach and cruise north thru Malibu, Ventura and Santa Barbara to the Cold Springs Tavern.
It would be a great run along PCH 1 and I think we would look great all rolling up the coast!!!!!!
We can make some pit stops along the way and plan on lunch in Santa Barbara or the Cold Springs Tavern.
Let's Roll!!

RonzSC

TBK...The route pretty much follows the costline generally north to Santa Barbara. That would be a ways for you coming from San Diego.
Maybe one of our later runs this year should be down your way? (Carlsbad???)

Merc65...It wouldn't be the same without you.
I hope you can be there. I thought your motor was running well? It sounded strong.

It's time for everyone to break out the polish and get those rides nice and shiny.

The cruise on PCH will be great! TBK, it's really not that far from Rancho Bernardo to Long Beach, about 110 miles or so, the drive back may be a killer. Bring the wife and kid (s), I'm bringing mine!

I'm going to do my best. I have to get this group purchase on the aluminum flywheels moving pretty fast so I can have it all put back together by then!

If I can't drum up enough interest I guess I'll have to pay the $400+ for the McC. one.

That's going to be sooo sweet!

Beer Baron...Do you have a tow rope? You may have to tow me back to Newbury Park. (J/K)

This is going to be pretty cool to have all these SC's rolling together at one time.
Of course I am bias toward the Anniv's ( right Mike and Al?).

Do we have ten SC's that can make the cruise?
Ron

al35thsc
04-23-2002, 04:01 PM
duuno, they don't seem like the type that go onthe internet if you know what i mean. mainly thugs and older people that dont have a clue about what the car actually IS. I'll try tho!

If we need one more SC to make 10, I'll have my wife drive our titanium one with one of the kids, and me in the 35th with the other!

RonzSC
04-23-2002, 06:35 PM
Hey Mike...
I was just thinking of what the potential for the cruise might be. At least the Titanium would be a nice addition to the Red and Black.

o wow it dident take long to get the html on in our forum thats good hate giveing links its so much better to see them right off no those are my origanal ones and yes one does have a small crack there going to get a full reworking when i m done, though my machinest says he dont do 3 angle valve jobs because it makes valves run hotter and more likley to burn more so in a sc or turbo motor

Ron

Talked it over with my wife...I'm gonna bring her and my son.

On a side note: Certain events have occured today that have forced me to hit the "fast forward" button on my need for an aluminum flywheel. (to get the project done). I'm going to order the McCleod as soon as I can get ahold of them and get it installed ASAP.

I will CERTAINLY be ready for the trip!

RonzSC
04-25-2002, 01:43 AM
TBK...
How is your son?
I'm thinking that we might have to stop in Ventura at the State Beach and let the kids get out and stretch their legs.
I think Mike and Robert might bring their kids as well.
I am planning to bring some ice and a several cases of sodas as refreshments for the "cruisers" for our pit stops.
Later,
Ron

We're mostly water drinkers, although my son loves a good root beer or sprite too! :-)

He's a VERY good travelor, however I definately think a 'stop' is in order....gotta do the bathroom break and give everyone a rest stop.

al35thsc
04-25-2002, 10:25 AM
i'd bring my kids, but my "kids" are my fish and they kinda dont do well out of water :)

al

Do you think you can carry a couple cases of sodas in your trunk on the Cruise? I will have a couple in mine with a big cooler of ice for our stop. We can transfer at Albertson's or my house...ok?
Ron

al35thsc
04-25-2002, 04:54 PM

al

RonzSC

Hopefully I'll have it in by next weekend. Then I should know if the vibration has gone or not. :-)

If it is, then it's time to wash, clay bar, liquid glass, detail it again.

I will post the planned pit stops and timetable.
Did you get the info on the suggestion on the group shot at the Cross in Ventura?

TBKHomeworld
04-25-2002, 05:32 PM
Yes, the Texas dirt is REALLY hard on the cars and a total bear to get OFF the car! The crap has limestone in it (which is part of concrete mixture) and it grabs ahold of the paint and doesn't let go.

Anyway, I'll probably spend at least 20 hours fix'n her up!

al35thsc
04-25-2002, 05:35 PM
suweet, betcha when ur finished it will look about half as good as mine :) j/k

yep ron i got all the info now, i may type it into a spreadhseet and maybe tbk can post it up on the website
