Aluminum flywheel research....

Anyway, so here I am, doing some research on the McCleod aluminum flywheel....I call them up and actually talk to the OWNER.

Anyway, it's a 14lb flywheel!!!! HOLY CRAP! he said it's Same as 351 0 balanced w/gear moved forward.

He talked to me about all sorts of stuff including an adapater he's working on to put a T56 in our birds!

Anyway, does this stuff sound right to you all?
 
well, in my best amateur gear head voice, what kind of tranny is a t56?

a 6 speed with 3.73's would so kick ass!!!

It's "basically" the same tranny as what is in the Firebirds/Cameros.

I think the 3.27s would still be good....however the gear ratio would just have to be experimented with to get optimial performance and fuel economy.
 
for a second i thought u were going rice on us...i mean i know u drive a quest and all but, its not type r is it???
