One cats a rattlin' and it's down on power.Sound like the xhaust is stopped up?Do you think it'll blow the stuff on out? It's 2 1/4 downs w/ carsound cats into a Magnaflow res w/ Dynomax muffs.Straight thru stuff so I'm hoping it'll blow it out.

If you are down on power. Something must be stuck in thier and its plugged. Great way to blow your headgaskets. I would fix the plugged cat or cats before you have a lot more to fix.

Happened on my car one day on the way to work. Was rattling for a week and then all of sudden thwack, and a highly muffled sound. I could smell something hot and my temp gauge started climbing.

I quickly pulled over and let the car cool off. Wacked the cat to knock the thing loose and started driving back home to get a different car.

A blocked exhaust will dramatically increase exhaust temperatures at the head, one of the key components necessary to crack a head. Not to mention burn up some exhaust valves.
