Hello everyone, happy new year. I have a simple question today. After pulling codes from the ecu,(and repairing the problem) how do you clear the codes from the memory? thanks JJ
I would recommend that you use the code reader to clear the codes....
This will result in a fresh start and the self assurance that the code is clear. I have also pulled the neg of the battery . Some say this will clear the codes . In my case it resulted in another code loss of power to KAM . Dissconnecting the battery will work but the car will have to cycle awhile for the code to exit the KAM.So if you want the code gone right now the best thing to do is clear it with a code reader.
