Heated Throttlebody disconnect?

Will it hurt or help me to disconnect the water lines to the throttle body? I have heard a lot of people say that is worth a few hp to unhook it and block off the lines. At least on other cars.

I don't think you'll be gaining any horsepower there, mang.

Most people disconnect them because they are a PITA, that's it.

Cap it, and forget about it.

There were two options I had when I put my engine back together. Get a plastic hose connector and connect the two together, or by a big section of hose and connect the two coolant pipes together from either side of the block. I chose to get the hose and connect both sides together, I ran the hose under the throttle body and around the back of the blower under the lower IC tube back to the other side pipe.

I noticed that when I was working on the fuel injectors and i haven't gotten it back together yet. i think the egr will be getting blocked off as well!

I think only 89-90 any one that you can adjust the IAC does not.
The only thing it will do is not heat the in coming air up who knows maybe 1 or 2 HP.
