Lower Rear Bumper Vent Question

Hopefully everyone knows what i mean, the lower grill/vent part of the rear bumper ( the sexiest part of an sc!).

can i cut out the broken pieces behind it? theyre like plastic tabs that hold it but most of them are broke. Will it sag if i cut them out?

It probably will sag. Some SC's came with an additional plastic bracket that attached to the bottom lip of the bumper and to the floorpan with push pins. That would help hold things up if you do want to remove them, If you could find one of those, or fab up your own.

Some of mine were broken as well so I got some Aluminum flat stock and cut it to size and bent it so that tabs of Aluminum were on the backside(the part you cant see) of the bumper cover. I then glued them in place with that bumper cover glue that is made by 3M for body shops to repaire those covers. Worked like a charm and I'm the only one that knows its not factory. After I installed them I painted them black just like the factory.
