Don't think we've seen anything on this yet, so I thought we might as well guess some? What do you think? I'm figuring 450-500 hp? Question is, how?

There won't be a new SVT Mustang until 2006 model year. The Lightning and Cobra are taking a year off.

06 Cobra will have the 5.4L MOD V8 with the Lysholm Twin-Screw supercharger, detuned to 450HP

The 2005 Mustang GT will have a 4.6 Mod V8 with a 3 valve per cyl head similar to the new F150. The V6 will be a 4.0 liter SOHC.

I think the Cobra needs the DOHC V10 they made back in '99 as an option when making the '03 Cobra in it and they can give it some witty name or just bring back the King Cobra, cuz with that motor, it's sure to eat some snakes

I think it put down 480 hp to the wheels, pretty mean motor...

it's what the put in the new Shelby concept it sounds like.

The V-10 in the Cobra concept is not the same as the one tried in 99-the Cobra concept motor uses the ideas and technologies generated by the Mustang V-10.

Plus the Cobra V10 has 605HP, and wouldn't fit in the 06 Cobra without MAJOR modifications to the front of the car.
