Nice to meet you Victor. I am glad to hear that there is another option to choose from when looking for parts. These cars are getting really old, and there is always room for someone willing to be there.
Thanks!

I had my girlfriend purchase a Magnum Powers engine dress panel as a Christmas present from Spinningwheels-sc (Victor & Diane Malvar) in early Dec. Less than a week later she received an e-mail from them saying that unfortunately this item was no longer available. They were extremely apologetic, but said that their supplier (not MP) had never notified them of this. But as a result of making some calls to MP, they were able to locate another one! They were terribly sorry for the delay. As compensation for what they felt like was poor service on their part (I didn't think it was), they sent a free SC baseball cap to us!

They told my gf they would give her the tracking numbers once the item had shipped from MP- but they had to get those tracking #'s from the supplier who I guess was the official dealer for this part. Well, the supplier never forwarded the request to ship to MP, nor passed along the tracking #'s once it had shipped. As a result my gf did not receive the item in time to give to me for Christmas.

Spinningwheels-sc felt so badly about this that they voluntarily refunded the entire purchase price, including shipping, to my gf and told her to keep the item anyway once it was received!! They said they would take the responsibility of trying to get re-imbursed from this supplier (good luck on that one!) They said they felt they had to make the refund because of "bad business practices" on behalf of their supplier. They said they are looking for alternatives to provide quality parts at reasonable
prices to the SC community without having to continue with the problems dealing with this supplier.

Spinningwheels-sc (Victor Malvar) is just a retired military guy and his wife trying to accommodate the SC community with new/used parts and maybe eak out a small profit along the way. They are truly genuine people who care about satisfying a customer who chooses to purchase from them. If you need to procure parts for your SC, check their ebay store and rest assured that they will do everything in their power to make sure you are satisfied!

And who is this supplier that seems to care not at all about customer satisfaction and is guilty of bad business practices? Well, I'm going to respect Victor and Diane's request not to mention who exactly this middleman was. (They only revealed it to my gf by sheer accident to begin with...) Suffice it to say that Spinningwheels-sc have a far greater understanding of customer service and satisfaction than this other supplier does!

I have absolutely nothing to gain by any increase in business to Spinningwheels-sc, I have taken the time to relate my story and recommend this company solely because I was so impressed with the lengths they went to to accommodate my girlfriend in her purchase from them.

Can be found on Ebay:

Check them out!

Hi to all, I too have purchased items from spinnng wheelsSC "Victor Malvar". I got the greatest of custumer service and a great product as well. I was and still pressed for time and currently in the NAVY. I got ahold of him late last week and told him that I needed a new set of Motor mounts asap, becouse I am leaving in a week for a workup. Well to say the least not only did he give me the best price availible for the Solid motor mounts, but he too shiped them to me express ship at no extra charge. I have to say anyone who treats people like this gets my up most respect. He for now on will be the only person that I buy my SC parts from. And I too gain nothing by his buisness growing, just security knowing that I will have a good store to shop from when I need it. God bless.:D

Hey everyone,
I just wanted to chime in on ths as well, I too have done business with Victor and his wife Diane, and have nothing but good things to say about my purchase with them. I emailed them at first about an auction on ebay for a gauge cluster which ended up beieng sold before I even had a chance to buy it, but they told me they would notify me when they were posting the auction to let me have a fair chance at getting it.
I then in the meantime found the auctoin they had posted for the complete set of tail lights which I did end up buying, after the purchase Victor emailed me with news that he had discoverd a crack in the light which he did not have mention of in the ad, and offered me a discount on them as compensation then he ended up getting me an even better set without any cracks without me even asking! And let me keep the discount.
I since then have become good friends over the internet with him and Diane, and found that they only live 70 miles away! When I found this out is when I offerd them to check out the Florida chaper of the SCCoA and they are learning that the SCCoA has much more to offer through the use of the forums. I hope one day to meet them in person at a local meet someday as they are genuine people who care about customers and their cars not just what comes out of the owner's wallet. I plan on getting an I/C fan for my car in the near future and have watched their price almost become half of what manufactures want for the same product!
I highly recommend that you give Spinningwheels-SC your business for your next SC product purchase.
Thank you Victor and Diane for being good people, the SC community thanks you for your efforts in providing exellent customer service as well as top notch communication!
I'm honored to be conciderd a friend of you and Diane.
SC Ya,
Greg Roll

Hi Dave, I have found a mechanic, this man is a down right genious. I asked him about this spinning hubs and he said no problem doing it. I have him do things I thought were impossible. I can only afford to hire him partime and he just charges me for keeping his tools safe He is working towards purchasing an SC I own, that I was going to part out. First he is helping us with a new chip he saw my eec tables and has been working on a part to do what alot of the other chips do but but easier to intall it does not have all the programable features but we tried it on the car he is buying and man what a diffrence in the power. I will write about that someother time. On the hubs spinning in the rear he has got them just about worked out! He is working on a special wrap to reduce the heat from the bottom intercooler tube to keep the heat from affecting the heat transfer. We are ready to have it tested on a hot engine then take temp readings off the intercooler as well as on performance with and without it. its a type of jacket that wraps around the intercooler tube. I cannot divulge this material, that he is using to keep the heat down 15 to 20% We will be testing all three thing, and see what the cost would be to manufacture these items. We are going to Carlile to meet up with Joe(joenintiesc) and Wanda and show it off there. He is a ball off knowledge. These are only a few of the thing this friend's ideas but to put them to work is what really fascinating! I am in awe! get back to you soon. I want to thank all thank have said such nice things about spinningwheels-sc I have to give so MuchCredit to my Wonderful Wife and Best Friend, Diane I would not be here writing this if it were Not For Her!!! God Truly Blessed me When He Joined Us Together! She IS My Everything!NOW is a Sacred Thing For Now is a Moving Thing, and Now is Only Now Now! and THEN, Then is Sacred For Then Was NOW, THEN. Take Your NOW'S As Sweet As Wine and Savor Them As Then's Forever!

Sounds like what I've been doing for years. I use Moroso header wrap on the lower IC tube, as well as on the headers. It makes a big difference in intake air temps, as well as underhood temps.
