Check engine light and idle

After driving 2 or 3 miles on my way to work, my check engine light came on and stayed on till I got to work. On my trip back home, it never came on. I pulled codes and I got 332 (continuous memory code), which is EGR Valve opening not detected. I'm kind of thinking this might just be a one time only thing but I'm just going to keep an eye on it. My question is, if it's not just a one time only thing, what most likely needs replaced? Also, lately if the car sits a while at an idle with the heater on, it will try to die. When I pulled the Engine Running codes and it idled down, it sounded like it had a miss to it. Any advice on these problems will be very appreciated. Thanks, Brandon

I bet it is a one time only thing.....

EEC is probably just adjusting to outside temps. If car starts to run lean or rich it will throw the CEL for a few seconds till you give it more gas.
