I bought m/t last year. I have 94-95 wheels. The size I got was 26/10.5/16. I think they go for $160 to 170 a tire.I will never race with out them.10.5 is the biggest you can go on 7 inch wheel.I hope I help you out!

I had a set of M/T ET streets 26 x 11.5 x 16 mounted on stock SC wheels (tight fit) but would go with the 10.5 wide if doing it again.
You can also use 15" tbird LX wheels. I've got a set of M/T ET drags 26 x 10.5 x 15 mounted on LX wheels for use at the track. They seem to be much lighter than the 16" tires on SC wheels.

I dont want to impose on this thread but I was wandering what rpm do you guys launch at with the MT ET streets? I know alot of it has to do with track condition, temperature, tire pressure, and the amount of power your car makes but I was wandering if I could get a gestamate because I will be buying a set of them for this summer and I have never run drag slicks before.
Thanks!

My 95 auto i'm only able to launch at 1200 to 1300rpm. Over that, the wheels will spin on the brake torq. I run about 12 psi, but after ever race The tires get hot and I have to adjust the psi back down. I have let to spin off the line!!!!I love them!!!!!

I have Hoosier Quick Time Pro's (26 x 9.5 x 16) but I've only used them once. I was launching at 2500-2600 and not a bit of slip and a 1.92 60' time with much to go. Stan W. has pulled a 1.76 with the same tires years ago.
Oh.. and I'm running 3.31 gears, rear air bags, a 5 speed and dyno confirmed 360-370 RWT at launch RPM. I'm gonna try launching at peak torque (around 400 at 3200-3400) next time and see what happens.
