That is one SWEET truck. Its hilarious how Dodge tried to put out the SRT-10 to try and have the fastest truck out there and FOMOCO had this up their sleeve to counter them. Now they just have to ditch that Ugly Taurus, and bring over somethin a lil more sporty for the family.

The New Lightning will easily kill the SRT/10, no questions asked. It is funny that current Lightnings can pretty easily kill the new Dodge.

I have the artical on that truck in an issue of SVT Enthusiast and it has alittle over 500 HP and 500 ft. lbs. of torque and a wild looking IC system on it. Gonna be a nice ride!
The Taurus will be dying soon, its already been anounced.

I would'nt count out the SRT/10 yet, that motor has'nt come from the factory with very much tuning done to it yet. Theres lots of hidden potential hidden in those V10's that has'nt been exploited yet. Theres a few of them out there that been breathed on alittle by there owners and buddy there a hoss.;)

Ford won't bring the falcon over :( I already discussed it with some factory reps. That 4.0L Turbo would be sweeeeeeet :D or the 5.4L DOHC V8 :cool:


But the Taurus is getting replaced with the Ford 500 (sorry don't have a big pic yet) to my knowledge.

And they're gonna have another vehicle between the focus and 500 eventually the Ford Futura.

Last I heard the 500 will be FWD w/ option AWD and a duratec V6.

Yeah that's it I was just trying to find a larger picture of the actual car but it's pretty close to the concept art. I think it looks a lot like an Audi A6 just wish it was RWD or AWD not FWD and AWD with a V8 option.

Jim, that truck was on display in the building with the Ford GT and 05 Mustang concept, at Carlisle last year ... I'm guessing you didn't see it in person down there ??
