Grinding noise coming from rear of car

and no its not the brakes. Just changed them. Almost sounds like the wear indicator on the pad. but its not......anyone have some insight as to what it may be.

Dust shields may be rubbing on the rotors.

something stuck in the abs sensor and gear? I found all kinds of goop on mine. Have to wipe it off.

This sounds like a similar problem that I had on my '95 SC. A screaching noise was coming from the rear right wheel. At first, I thought it was the brake pads....checked them and not a problem, but I replaced them anyway. The noise was still there. Thought it was a wheel bearing, so took it in to get it looked at. The mechanic said no problem with the bearing. He greased the bolts that holds the caliper on, and the noise quit. He said the bolts were totally dry. Haven't had a problem since.
