Low idle at operating temp

Hello everyone,
Lately my 89 has been acting a little strange (yea, like thats something new). The engine starts fine when its cold. It runs fine all around town. But if I shut it down for a few minutes (for example, getting gas) then start it up it has a very low idle, have to keep my foot on the throttle for about 15 seconds then its back to normal. Throttle position sensor maybe? Back in the day my tps went bad and I had to keep my foot in it but that was only when the engine was cold. Thanks for your help, JJ

From what I've been told, the TPS only tells the EEC when you are at WOT. Otherwise, it just sort of sits there. Try unplugging it and see if anything is different.

Also, how are your engine mounts? If you notice any vibration when sitting at a stop light and the car dies if you turn the wheel or run the A/C, then the mounts are probably gone.
