Im gonna get an engine rebuild and was wondering if anyone has suggestions or pointers on other I should get replaced under the hood. I was thinking about replacing the pullys while the engines out but im kinda a newbie so I dont know what all would be good to do. If anyone could give me their advice id be grateful. Welcome KlsoneSC!
I think it all depends on how much you want to spend on your motor. There are guys here that have done some great things with the SC and they can give you a good start, according to where you want to go.

Thanks Ron! I've been pouring through all the info on the site all day and I think I have some pretty good ideas about which way to go with this project. Im lookin to stay under $3500 including parts and labor but maybe i'll just get a straight rebuild with no bells or whistles just yet seeing as how I dont have new exaust on yet. Anyway, im just thinking outloud now so im gonna go. Thanks for the reply!
