I'm in the process of removing my headliner, and am having some problems. I have all the trim removed, sun visors, moonroof switch, and other connectors. The problem that I am having with with the moonroof. How do you release the headliner from around the moonroof opening? Thanks.

Did you remove the molding around the moonroof opening. It is a rubber covered metal J-channel that holds the headliner to the moonroof track.

The chanel is in a U shape. You see the one side of the U facing down and the botom of the U facing sideways. The other side of the U is on top that you don't see. All you have to do is pull the molding off sideways. It is pretty flexible. To start it i would just use a screw driver to pry it out. Not hard at all to do but hard to describe. Hope this helped.
