I need to do motor mounts on my car and i was wondering if anyone has a spanner wrench i can borrow or buy for less than $40? I am honest and I will return it. Also if anyone has some extra teflon IC gasket kits I would be interested in buying one. I know tbird88 is pretty backed up and I don't have time to wait. Thanks -Jeremy

If you remove the upper IC tube and the SC top as one piece, you won't need to touch the spanner nut at all. Just be sure to tape a plastic bag over the SC opening to keep dirt and debris out.

what should we use to reseal the top then? and isnt it supposed to be torqued down in inch-pounds?

I just used red rtv. I didn't know what the torque specs where but they don't need to be tight. Just snug them up and the rtv will seal the rest. Let it dry for an hour or so and you will be set.

The next time you take it off you will have to beat on the top will a rubber mallet because the rtv is that effective.

I also simply bypassed this by removing the top directly from the Supercharger, it contains 4 bolts. I resealed w/ Copper RTV which works well for this and apparently oil.
