View Full Version : squeaky HVAC blower motor?

The fan/blower whatever you want to call it has a squeak to it that drives me nuts. It is noticeable at all speeds but mostly on the lowest setting. I read about this somewhere before that it has to do with the brushes in the fan motor or something? I also read that it is a problem specific to 94' models...not sure if that is true. Anyone else experience this? Is there an easy remedy?

There is no clutch. It's behind your glove box.Lower box and squeeze sides to completely lower. You will then see fan motor. There is a plug and 3-4 screws.I got my "new" one out of a junk yard.30 min job if you don't know what you're doin'.
