ok I was at the ford dealership today, and this guy is telling me he can order the lower hose which is 52$, but the upper one is obsolete he can't get it anymore.

my problem is that my rad hoses were so tight I couldn't get them off without cutting them.

anyone got an extra upper rad hose they wanna sell? and since the lower hose is 52$ I might want that too.

Canadian Tire $13 and change. :D Might have to order it but it only takes a day or two to get there.

so dean how does CT have a rad hose and ford doesn't? like is it specific to SC's or is it one of those that fits many cars?

It's for an SC. It's the same deal as when I needed an ignition module for mine. Ford didn't have it and if they did it was $300 + dollars!! I called CTC and they ordered it from Wells in the US and in two days I had my new module that was the exact same as the Ford one I took off. It even had Motorcraft on it like ours do and it was $138.00!! That's where a lot of these parts stores make cash. They know after 10 years the dealers don't carry most parts any longer. Most of the parts they get are made by the same company that made it for the Fo Mo Co! I know they have your rad hose because I put one on my SC two summers ago.

Alex, Ford has different upper hoses listed for 89 - 91 and 92 - 95 SC, but any of them will work.

If you can wait until next week, I have one in stock at Fines ...
