Sealing up supercharger

I did a search on sealing the IC tubes but what about the supercharger assembly? Where the 3.8 covers the top and the intake to the back of the supercharger. Copper gasket maker? It looked like teflon tape was used there.

I use copper permatex, hi temp, as well but the real key is that you use whichever as long as it is O2 sensor safe. Just make sure you don't over tighten the bolts 15 to 22 ft.lb. Good luck

The real key is what ever you use is to just you the amount need not more you dont want it to be globs of it ever where.

just did mine about 2 weeks ago. black High-temp RTV gasket maker silicone works great. Apply a solid thin bead on top of the super charger. And be CAREFUL toqueing the top down!!! the threads are weak(aluminum). Use a small hand wrench or rachet to tighten them down hand tight.

trust me.....no fun
