Hey guys, we talked about this one Saturday also, anyone wanting to go and show and watch the races?
Fun Ford Weekend at Orlando Speed World (http://www.funfordevents.com/index.php?src=directory&view=Event%20List&srctype=display&back=Event%20List&id=435&submenu=Events&view=Event%20List&pos=0,20,13&PHPSESSID=85a579922e1db3fd3bd38b357e416ee5)
This one is really expensive also, looks like the venue is kind of like Moroso last year..

Can't do Sunday due to some friends stopping by the house, I *could * do Saturday I guess, but honestly...unless quite a few others here are going, I'd rather do OSW on a Wed or Fri nite when it's not so crowded. I'm not a big fan of large crowds in general.
I think unless everyone else is going, I'll just get ready for the Daytona show and beg off this one, I'm kind of tired of writing checks, lol. But I'll keep it in mind and watch this thread. :)

I'm going to Disney on the Saturday so I'll be in Orlando Friday and Sunday also. I'm trying to decide what to do. They are running the regular Friday grudge night, but I was thinking it might be extra people there. Same thinking about Sunday, I want to race, but with the amount of people I don't want to do 1 or 2 practice runs and then lose in the first round of brackets since I don't know how this car runs yet. Then again it would kill me to sit there and watch! I read on the FFW forum that there is an annual burnout contest at Hooters on Friday night which sounds like a good time.

I have work,*cringes*, 1-10 Sat ( Sunday, not sure yet) , but if there are post-race activity, let me know.
I was planning on racing, especially at the home track, but can't due to work. The funny thing is I had a backup car.
Speaking of Home Track, if I can make a suggestion about a T&T. No matter when you go, it gets crowded. The best time to go is either a Wed or Fri night early. If you are able to get there around 6 PM, you can get *maybe* 3 runs in before things really start to build up. I've been there a few times where there have been lines for a good 300 cars.
Another option would be the Midnight Drags. They recently changed the format. Earlier, they were running no slip races only, but they've changed that. Those are usually the first Satuurday of certain months from 10-2. They run continuous and it's only streetable cars. This would be your best bet, I think.

It turns out Sunday is the only day I might make it and I won't be racing. I wanted to race the 5-spd but the lower control arms won't be done in time so I'll be driving the auto down and it leaks too much oil to take onto the track. I'll know in a day or two if I'm going for sure and let you guys know.

I'm not too sure about this, but I can only make Sunday. Are you allowed to enter the races for only Sunday?
