Hey guys,

Well i bought a red of the junk yard that was was in a Sc, i saw no leaks and there was coolant when we removed it so. I brought it home and notcied that the rad i bought had 2 small pipes comming out of it at the bottom!!!! i lifted my hood and my rad does not have these pipes. I aussme this Sc was a 92 or 93?!?! do they have different Rads???!?!?!?

Anyays, i can not install this rad so i am wondering if anyone has a 98-91 metel rad they might want to trade for it. If not maybe someone will want to buy this one from me. I bought it from the yard for 60 bucks but i will take 50 if someone needs it!!

If anyone is interested give me a holla!!

Jeff,

Perhaps those are just tranny cooler lines?

...If so, you could just not hook anything up to them, and run this rad in your 5-spd car.

Cheers,

Sean

Jeff,

Rads for auto cars have an auxillary cooler built into the bottom
of the rads where your tranny lines go to cool the tranny fluid.
As Sean said you can still use it just don't hook anything up to
them.

This rad was obviously from an automatic and all that runs through there is tranny fluid and it doesnt mix with colant so you are safe to just leave them open.Or you could always convert it to the power steering cooler.:D :D
