Based on what I read in my CD Service Manual, it looks like you'll need to have diagnostics run by someone you trust-you have to disconnect the PCM, install a breakout box and make a number of checks to run down the exact problem with this one-unless you have a breakout box and the knowledge to perform the tests, you'll be better off with a mechanic who can run it down.
The problem could be in the A/C switch, the PNP or CPP switches at the pedal, or the PCM itself.
