hey everyone, i am nstalling my cam, engine is out of car, and i was wondering on the back of the engine where the cam goes, is that hole supposed to be filled by a frost plug/freeze plug whatever, my guess is that it is, just want to make sure and how far should she go in if that is what needs to be put there. thanks

NO it should not touch the cam itself.

mike, so if it is able to move forward and back a lil without the timing chain and gears on, is that ok? i have the first cover plate on right now, and there is minimal movement. and it is a just a regular freeze plug correct?
