we have the driveshaft out, the gas tank out, the exhaust out, and all of the tranny bolts out, but the tranny will not come disconnected from the engine, i think we have all of hte bolts undone but cannot get the tranny out.

You did get the bolts that attach the oilpan and bellhousing, right?

Peter... remove the rubber access plug at the bottom of the separator plate attached to the bell housing. Rotate the crankshaft until you can see the bolts that attach the torque converter to the flex plate. These will need to be removed before you can separate the trans from the engine. There should be 4 if my failing memory serves me correctly.
