name the trans part?

part a b & c is called a syncronizer assembely if you are rebuilding your 5 speed just change the syncronizer ring (the gold ring).

But isnt that know as the brass blocker? I sure this trans has been down before as they were fibor before. Check out what happend to the speedo geares. I bet they were wondering why the speedo did not work after the rebuild.

also this came out near the shifter and I cant figure out where it went.

yes they are allso called blockers. but if you go to the dealer and ask for a blocker ring they will give you a stupid look if they dont know what a blocker is. you should allso refer to it as the syncronizer ring.

the stock transmission has both fiber and brass rings.some people think they only have fiber rings.if i remember right when i rebuilt mine 1st & 2nd gera ring is brass 3rd & 4th ring is brass and 5th & rev. is fiber. the transmission has 3 syncronizer assembaely's and each one has 2 rings.

as for the other part i cant remember where it goes.

That clip looks like the speedo-gear clip.

yup that clip is definately the clip that goes around the speedo gear to hold it in place

Ill bet that the clip fell off and got caught in the gears and tured them to crap
