Ignition problem

I accidently touched both jumper cables to ground with the other ends on the battery. The battery is still good, but the car wouldn't start using the key. I jumped the solenoid. Took right off. It will run and it will start by jumping the solenoid, but when I try to start it using the key, it won't do anything. I checked all the fuses and all were good. What else can it be?

check the fusible link coming off of your starter solenoid. it should be a small gray wire it goes to your alternator. if that goes, your alternator will cook off in no time.

There are 2 fusible links by the solenoid. One is on a small blue wire that becomes a yellow wire after the link. The other is on a larger gauge wire. I checked both of them and they are good. I jumpered the R/LB wire on the neutral safety switch to the wire beside it. That didn't work. Do I need to jumper both pair of wires to check the switch? I also checked the ignition switch. It works too. What next?
