Anyone have any experience using a wideband 02 along with readout on an sc. I am looking into buying something that is accurate for tuning purposes and doing away with my current light show a/f gauge. Don't want to spend a ton on it, and not interested in the DIY kit. Thoughts please..

for 350 you can get one from inovative motorsports. Its a complete self contained unit that won the Sema best award. it runs on a 9 volt battery and just requires the 02 sensor to be hooked up. It has stores up to 45min of data so it can be shown on a computer etc. Good product but never used it before. This is by far the cheapest on the market, and high quality.

Gary kuhn just got one of those units. He has it hooked up and working but hasn't had much time to use it yet. Email him for more details or maybe he will see this post.....

How do you use these things with dual exhaust?

Curious.

You pick the bank you think runs leanest, and pray ;)

Seriously, I use the FJO wideband in both cars, with a single sensor, without problems. There are dual sensor widebands available, but they're pricey.

Can't I just weld in 2 bungs and check each side at a time?

Call me stupid (shuddap Dave) :p

Yes, and I've done that, but unless you either have electrical or mechanical problems, or a serious air/fuel distribution issue, it's overkill.

Hi.
Any web link for Inovative motorsports.
Thanks Vidar.

you can get this one also. http://www.speedshop.org/store/Scripts/default.asp

These guys have great nitrous stuff. Their kit converts the wideband into a narrow band so that the computer can read the signal as well. This way you just take out one sensor and you'll get a wideband reading for you, and the narrow band signal is still sent to the computer. Nice kit for $400 and the price keeps on dropping.

The Innovative is the best one to get, since it offers datalogging. But you need the additional $99 cable.

That Speedshop wideband kit is the same as the PLXdevices.com kit for $300-330. It does have a narrow band output so you can use it with the stock computer. That's how I'm running it. The only downside is no internal datalog. But if you have an eec tuner you can datalog via the EGR port.

How can you log data from the egr port?
