I noticed yesterday about halfway home that my temp gauge would not come off of the M. The a few more miles down the road it was past the M. I was like ~~~? So I pulled in Autozone and got a thermostat gasket as I already had the rest of the parts, just figured it froze open. I got home and opened the hood to find coolant all over the radiator fan, k-member, and so on. Got to looking at it more and I must have cracked the radiator. Must have not been able to handle the ManicV6Mechanic performance upgrades. Called Vernon and going to buy a used one from him. Hopefully have it running by the weekend.
I think the only thing saving my butt was the fabed up metal air dam I did last week. Otherwise I probably would have screwed up everything.

my car does the same thing it will heat up to a lil pass the M! and its driving me nuts i've replaced all the cooling hoses, the T-stat radiator flush and corosion treatment and new fluid, and it still pulls this crap and i don't have a crack in my rad so i have ultimately decided to go with Griffin for my replacement i see it as preventative maintence espescially for those HOT as H311 texas summer days

Yea getting that time of year.

My van lost the tranny last week and still in shop. It has been good to drive the 95 bird again but noticed it does not like to idle in this slightly warmer weather. Will overheat on the track.

Somewhere there is a link to a fairly inexpensive new rad for our cars. Probably show up in search.

Got an aluminum one from Mike38sc just a little cheaper than Griffen. Have not put it in since this motor is about trash.

Wonder what vernon would do a 302 conversion for in a 91SC? Of course I don't have donar car yet.

I have seen the new ones on ebay for $145. Just can't seem to afford it right now. Hopefully Vernon has one he can sell me pretty cheap.

Got the radiator from Vernon and got it put in this weekend. Need to take it over to the radiartor shop and have them weld a tiny spot up that it seems to have a small (very small) leak.

Also I will be bolting up my new exhaust up after work today. Full exhaust, not just the resonator and mufflers. I can not wait.
