hey guys, getting ready to pull the tranny out of my 90sc cause its grinding real bad going into 2nd and getting bad going into 3rd and 4th.does anybody have the part #'s for new syncro's?does anyone suggest aftermarket ones and if so where can i get them?i will be checking the inside guts all over for any problems but does anybody recommend replacing anything else while it is apart?thanks for the help.

just following up,i just checked the faq forum and found a thread about brass blocker rings.are they refering to syncronizors?

If you want to stop the grinding, don't use the brass blockers. Use the fiber ones. I buy mine at the Ford dealer. There are 4 for gears 1-4, one for 5th, and a different one for rev. They run about $30 ea. You'll need the 2 large nuts for the lower and upper shaft bearings, a new thrust bearing. I don't have the part #'s but the dealer parts guy will have them. I get all of my other M5R4 parts from Southern Gear in Smyrna, Ga.
