should I do a complete teardown of my engine before I put it in the car? I know that the n/a 3.8L is a pretty hairy mexican engine, I am not so sure I completely trust one with a supercharger.

I am just throwing this out there, to see what kind of wild things people have doen, or can do to add lots more power. I would like to get as much out as I can, without stuffing 8 cylinders in there.
I saw the intake manifold modification that someone else had posted. I will deffinitely do that, and go one step further and completely deburr everything inside the manifold, get it smooth like glass, then do the same with the heads, and have the exhaust headers ceramic coated inside. deffinitely think I should put a bigger fuel pump, MAF, throttle body, injectors, possibly a cold air induction pipe, K&N filter, windage tray(if there isn't already one in there), aftermarket fuel pressure regulator, maybe a powerchip, index the spark plugs, and polish all the sc tubes.
Are there any aftermarket intercoolers for this car? I am thinking that this one looks a little too restrictive, and doesn't look like it would do a very good job of cooling without a fan.
oh, and aftermarket boost guage. any recomendations?
