Are there any major differences between the two engines? I may be obtaining a 94sc, but it is in need of an engine. Naturally, the 89-93 motors are much easier to come by. Do I need to put a 94-95 engine in this 94? I know the motors use different balancers, and the 89-93s have the sensor in the oil pan. Are there any pros or cons to doing this. Going to check out the car tuesday. Need responses asap, as I will probably be buying this thing soon.

Do you still have all the 94 wiring and sensors?

YOu will need to swap to the 94 timing front cover, 94 hb balancer, and 94 crank sensor. Reuse the 94 injector harness and 94 DIS.

And maybe the exhaust manifolds if you still have the stock exhaust.

I plan on just using the block, pistons, rods and crank. I wanna put all new gaskets and seals through out anyway, maybe even slip some new crank bearings in. My main goal is to make this my daily driver. I'm just tryin to do everything on a budget, so to speak.
