I was looking on the Sac Raceway web site and I noticed an interesting "technicality" for the Wednesday night drags. According to their descriptions, we could race in the "CMI Imports" category:

Full tree starting system. Open to 3-6 cylinder foreign and domestic cars and trucks. Vehicles may run slicks. Trophies are awarded to the winner and runner-up.

So there would be that stigma of staging in the Import lanes (yuck), but then it would be so fun to beat ricers in that Import category with a big American car!

but what would suck would be if you lost to them. I always ran in the big boy class, that way they expect you to lose.
