Hi, I'm nude here my name is Gunner i just wanna ask sum questions about these's cars as i'm lookin at byeing one really really soon it's a red 1992 1/2 Supercoope with a turbo engine just like all of yours cars but this won has 725,250 miles on it and although it runs ok it seems to stop running at around 35 MPH although that could be my foot sence it can only stretch so far (ive had this problem driving manny cars so I don't wanna blame the SC) but whtacha think woud be a good price to pay??????The guy is an older man about 32 and he wants $2295.63 sense he says he owes for the car being towed from California last year due to the electromagnetic suspension sysetem going bad as well as the Turbo blowing hot air into the engine insted of cold air due to a switch that sets things right if that makes sence to yous.
I noticed the breaks seem to stop the car when you press them but only if you step on them with both feet together and then they stop but if your going over bumps the car shuts off (?????) and then stops by itself anyway so thers no reason to use the breaks if you are on a bumpy road I guess. the fan belts do seem to turn freely
The turbo seams to go "Whooo-Whoooo WHOOOOOOSHHHYYYWHooo" also is this normal or could there be a vacuum leak as I noitced a Hoover sticker in the engine compartment did they make parts for these cars?
I'm a student (undergrad studying nuclear propulsion for Rokwell Grumman) so I don't wanna buy a lemon I cant afford and this car looks ok/good it has imitation chrome wheels made by Turtle Wax (I dint know they made wheels?) and sum of the chromy stuff is peeling can i just glue that back on with super glue or sumthing???? The paint is gone but i prefer the metal look anyway
I know these cars pretty well form reading this board sence 1997 and I been shoppiong for the rite SC sence then but so far this is the best won I have come across and just wanted to ask what you all thoght because some of you own them.
I know this guiys Dan that is letting me use his screen name here and he just says that i shoud save a little more $$$ and buy one for like $2800 that doesn't go "Whooo-Whoooo WHOOOOOOSHHHYYYWHooo" does that make sence?
Lastly I would like to mod the car I want to drop it 4 inches then put 22" wheels on it (very lighweight only 10 lbs so as knot to reduce power of course) and put in a muti turbo setup maybe 3 turbos or 4 but extra fan belts to run them and an extra radiator to produce more coldness across the powerband as well and hope to produce about ~800 HP but be completely reliable like a Hummer also I want extra batteries to run my 20,000 watt JVC stereo that will be the best ever in a SC but i'm not trying to brag either just that i'm in the technikle field so I may as well use my knoledge that I learned- I will do custom paint that glows in the dark and looks pinkish black on dark days and will look reddish blue in daylite and in tunnels with flouresscent(sp?) lite. I also want an electroniclally controlled wing that actully lifts the car off the ground when I hit a certain speed that would be cool
What am I looking at spending? I don't mind spending $76,233 if thats what it takes but I want a show stopper that will be the envie of everyone form here to Vermillion S.D. and be up on the home page of SCCoA for months and months.
Does this seem doable? Feel free to give me your honest opinun. TIA. ;)
