I recently ordered a spec clutch stage 3 and installed it. Well in 2 weeks I have broken 2 slave cylinders blew the backs out of them. They were both used though and now i have in the 3rd which i bought new from autozone. Well what im wondering is has anyone else had this problem and is there a stronger slave cylinder made. Also what could be causing this. Thanks

Could be a lot of things but 2 come to mind. 1st could be your pilot bearing.
2nd could be bad bearings in the nose of the trans itself. You should always use new parts to avoid having to take the trans out again but if it dose not break again, dont worry about it. Did you do the break in on the new clutch?
I think it was like 60 miles of city driving .

I did the break in SPEC said 450 to 500 miles of stop and go driving. The new clutch came with a through out bearing and another little bearing but i had no idea what the little bearing was for so i didnt use it does anyone have any idea what it was for? Any other ideas on why its breaking?
