I am willing to go out there and scout out a place we can meet up at and have breakfast or lunch (depending on when we want to meet up). I think that the 16th would work out better for everyone then this Saturday.

Any suggestions?

Ha, this is going to be my first meet. I'll stop by for a little bit. I've never met any of my fellow SC'ers in the area. Where is it going to be? Mabe someone can test drive my car to finally tell me whats wrong with it, and mabe some suggestions on some future mods.

Nathan Hiiiiiii,
You dont have to scout. Every one can go to Burger Junction(florin rd-power inn,8 miles from track)the burger hub of Sac.car clubs.

80 from Fairfeild to Sac. to Power Inn rd go south(another right). To Florin rd. Burger Junc. is kitty corner on right.
The track is straight down Florin rd. about 8-9 miles.

Ha ha Nathan.. Iíve said it before.. How can it get any better than this?

Here is the situation...

Your sitting at a light and a (INSERT V8 CAR HERE) :) rolls up on ya. He looks over at you. You can feel him starring. So you finally acknowledge him.

You give him the look.

He revs his V8.

You do nothing.

The light turns green.

He smokes his tires.

He pulls about a car length from the start.

You give er some gas.

You are pulling on him.

You are passing him.

He looks over at you as you pass him.

YOU TAKE A SIP OF YOU BIG GULP JUST AS YOUR AUTOMATIC SHIFT INTO THIRD!!.

He is no were to be seen in the rear view mirror.

All he wonders IsÖ.

What was under the hood?

What flavor Big Gulp was that?

Hey Nathan, I have two words for you about your manual tranny.

San Francisco.

Nuff said?

Point taken, that is why my ranger is an auto. IMHO manual trannies are funner to drive then an auto. Also I believe manual trannies are better for racing on the street, but auto's are better for out at the track, more consistant times.

Aaron so will you be able to make it?

Doubt it very much. I will be trying to figure out what is up this weekend but I doubt it will be running.

Aaron,

Your car doesn't have to be running, it would be really cool if it was though. You can come just to hang-out with us. Maybe give some driving tips?

I hope you can make it.

I will see what I can do, but I may be putting it back together next weekend after I tear it apart this weekend.

I should be alright but if you want to stop by then feel free. An extra hand always makes things easier.
