Any Interest in day trip to Spinning Wheels?

I e-mailed Victor about possibly doing a quick trip up and see what he has for our SC’s. He’s got allot of parts on e-bay with some good pricing. Not sure when, most likely would have to be a Saturday sometime. When everybody has time. Drive up in the morning, look at some of the fancy SC stuff (hold it in our hands, etc.,) have lunch and come back in the afternoon. :D

Sounds like a good idea Flip,
the only down side to that is that I work indefinately on all Saturdays, but It's all good, I'm sure I'll meet Victor in the three dimentional world one day! :)
I'll keep an eye on this therad to see what day is voted on and see how much i'm frusturated at work at the time, who knows I may just quit!

I think that a Sunday may be a bit easier to get out of as normally the store isin't as busy and the manager might not mind as much if i have a good excuse ahead of time. what day are we looking at? So I can tell work not to schedule me.

I have date in mind, we have Sweetsc90's day on May 16th. Do we want to try and do it before then? or after? I am booked the next couple of weeks (and weekends). I'm wide open to idea's.

Anybody know how the change the custom user title under the screen name? Mine changed to the “14 Sec. Club” all by it self last night. Can’t seem to find the option in the User CP.

Diana, Victor’s wife e-mailed me back that he is out of town until the weekend. But they are up for a Sunday visit.
So the upcoming dates would be:
April 18 – which seems kind of quick, but maybe not.
May 2
May 9th – Mother Day? Could be good or very bad
June 6th.

I did not add that date to the list because it’s the weekend of my 27th wedding anniversary and I’m taking my babe out for a three-day weekend. But if that works for everyone, go. I’ll catch with Victor some other time, no problem. :D

I'll I can really ask for is at least 3 weeks notice in order for me to put in a request for time off at the Depot.

I [i]should[i] have the bird up and running by mid-May/June, so most likely I'll have already dipped into Victor's stash. I was told that once the bird goes in, she becomes main priority, so we'll see what the money/time things seems to be.

Well I think June 6th would be out for Dan. That is the weekend for Carlisle Ford Nats. I may be headed there that weekend also but not sure at this point in time. Why don't we do a Sunday in May? Or are there no Sundays open in May?

Hello everyone From the Florida Gang, It's really nice to see the interest on this visit to our place in Ocala. We are really looking forward to meeting as many of you as we possibly can. It's an uplifting knowing you are are willing to take your time to visit us, So lets have some fun in the Sun, lunch, (BBQ) take a look around and whatever comes to mind? We were hoping to have it sometime in late june? This would give us a better chance or possibility of maybe having our son home from overseas duty as well if this is O.K. with everyone? That would be awesome!We have pretty well finished with his SC. Which he knows nothing about.The later in June would increase the possibility to have our Son here. He has not seen his restored SC yet! If you all want to shoot for the end of june, This would be awesome! Please forgive me for the late reply to this post. :o I have been all over looking for new and exiting products for our SC's. Thanks to all of you! Thank you Flip for the original contact with me. As well as all of you who can make it :) and the ones that cant, well we will keep the door and Invitation open yearly. :D :confused:

I'd like to do it sooner than later. May 2nd works for me.
It seems Victor would like to arrange the meet to be late in June so his son could be there. This would be great! Keep in mind the FL weather in late June is rather wet and could impede any out door plans. Not to mention people like myself that don't drive their SC's in the rain would be reluctant to bring them.

I agree june can be a wet month. We could get an extented forecast. I can get a pretty accurate one from yahoo. If my Son is not here this should not be a diturance. They could keep him longer anyway, they are extenting tours of duty this is his second one year extentention...They could extend him even longer? The way things are looking overseas. I would wish he were here on that day. If it could all fall into place that would be nice :) Having All here at the same time...I cannot stop it from raining anyday :( so those who do not drive in the rain, you will need a car cover :rolleyes: We have those in stock also. You all find the date that's most convenient... and then we will make sure we are able to meet that date you all decide on. We are flexible. Carisle is a big deal, so I would think you would all want to do it before or after. Just give us plenty of notice.We look forward to seeying you all with or without my son here. June anytime is O.K. with Son or Not is fine. I canot control the Sun or Son! :) :cool:

What if we make a quick run to your place on the May 2nd. date without allot fan fair or extra activities. Drive up look at some of your fancy parts, talk a little and head back? Then when your son gets back you can have a big party for him and as many of us that can make will show up and see him take possession if his new / rebuilt SC.

Hello to everyone Florida and all of SCCoA members and guest!
I wish we could revive this trip! Bryan I was not being snotty, the part about the car cover and the rain! I really would like to have you all come up and spend a day here with us. A lot of water under the bridge, but I wish you would all think about this visit once again. Diane and I would love to have a all day wing ding with everyone. After Dan's BBQ, I would like to have you over. I want to tell you that Charles Warner, David Neibert and Anthony have been working with Charles plus another couple of guys.I will mention their names in a liittle bit.It's been close to a year on the Magnum Powers Mag III made by Charles from Magnum powers the "Mag III" "Magnaport III". We have been talking about this for sometime now Charles Warner and I have been discussing it quietly! We have spent hours this past year or so.David Neibert has been involved in this process and I have been egging Charles to do it for about a year. Well he has done it.... and has surprised us!...The first Dyno Run at 3200, the clutch started smoking, then Charles made some adjustments and did another few runs on the dyno with slightly ported Heads and a light cam with 15% overdrive. He got 375 RWHP actual SAE . With an increased ratio to 20%, he got 390 RWHP actual SAE. Adding a larger, modified cam, with more lift and heads, the ratio increases.Mag III This is it's Nick name. There are no more Magnaport 11 now. It's only the Mag III Its awesome!!! The Magnaport III will include the blower and the plenum as a set. This plenum will not fit any other blower in the world. David Neibert will be testing it soon and should have numbers available. Charles Warner, David Neibert,and I will be doing Dyno pulls on the "Mag III".I have had a chance to communicate with David , Anthony and they are real nice guys.I have been communicating with them and they are perfect gentlemen,easy-going,prompt, smart and helpful and genuine great guys. So is David Dalke, as we all know he is top notch. The Mag III I will be testing at BNO the Dyno where David Dalke (XR7) tuned our cars. BNO stands for Boys Night Out. The Mag 111 Dyno on my modified, but with stock engine and stock cam will be at 15% and at 20% overdrive.One year warranty from any Mfg. Defects with reasonable upkeep and operated within normal limits,maintanence and it's intended use. Parts will be available when needed. If you have any questions? I have the scoop on this new awesome Supercharger and plenum. One more thing- your Magnaport 11 can still be repaired or rebuilt if needed at very reasonable prices get In touch with me. The ones still under warranty are still in effect for a full year from date of purchase. I hope to hear from anyone who is ready to bolt this Mag III down! There are some things we recommend the same as the Magnaport 11...non-restricted exhaust and a Magnum Powers intake. I want to say to Bryan I'm sorry I said to put a cover on your car during the rain.... I will see you all at Dans and let you all test drive the car with the Mag III.
